We are happy to announce the second Working Group Meeting of WG1 at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin in Berlin, Germany.

This meeting will take place in Berlin from March 30th 10 AM to April 1st 5 PM 2020 at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, Institute for Biology, Teaching and Learning Research in Biology Education (Invalidenstr. 42; 10115 Berlin).

This meeting is the annual meeting of Working Group 1 (“Assessment of attitudes towards evolution and knowledge about evolution across Europe”)

It will bring together participants to work on the deliverables of Working Group 1 in the EuroScitizen COST Action. In Berlin, we will specifically focus on the results of our study, in which we surveyed university freshmen across Europe concerning their attitudes towards evolution and their knowledge of evolutionary principles. First analyses will be presented and subsequently discussed regarding interpretation. Additionally, we will work on adjustments and refinement of the questionnaire and survey procedure for future studies. Stay tuned for a more detailed program.

Selected members of the EuroScitizen network will be able to attend this meeting for free with travels, stay and meals’ costs reimbursed by COST (within the limits of CA17127 COST rules).
